The Security Key is a mobile platform for your Motive 3 software license, allowing the same license to be used on different computers. For example, if you have your Motive setup on one computer, but use Motive for editing motion capture data on another computer, you can simply move the Security Key to the workstation you are using at the time. Software licenses must be locked to a USB Security Key for most system types.
