Hardware Key
IMPORTANT: The Hardware Key is only for Motive 2.x versions. It is not compatible with the current Motive 3.x versions.The Hardware Key is a mobile platform for your software license, allowing the same license to be used on different computers. For example, if you have your Motive 2.x setup on one computer, but use Motive 2.x for editing motion capture data on another computer, you can simply move the Hardware Key to the workstation you are using at the time. Security Key M
The Security Key M gives you a portable way to manage your Motive 3.1 software license across multiple computers. Instead of locking your license to a single workstation, the USB Security Key allows you to move your Motive license between compatible machines as needed.For example, you may run your capture from one computer and review/edit motion capture data on another. Simply plug the Security Key into the workstation you are using, and your Motive license moves with you.Most OptiTrack systems require software licenses to be locked to a USB Security Key.
